Wrangell-St. Elias National Park
Wrangell-St. Elias National Park rises majestically from the Gulf of Alaska all the way to the 18,008 ft peak of Mount St. Elias – the second-highest peak in North America. Nine of the 16 tallest peaks and four primary mountain ranges meet in the park, including:

This bounty inspires the National Park Service to call Wrangell-St. Elias National Park The Crown of The Continent as well as America’s Mountain Kingdom. This park is part of the largest UNSESCO protected wilderness (that combines Kluane National Park in Canada).
The park’s 13.2 million rugged acres make it significantly larger than Yellowstone and Yosemite combined. The fact that more than a third of the park is covered by glorious glacial ice makes the destination an adventure wonderland you shouldn’t miss.
